How many brothers do you have, how many sisters, how many half brothers and sisters and how many step-sisters or step-brothers and are they younger or older?
Alright, I also have to keep track when describing this. Instead of breaking it down, it works out to 9 brothers of mixed origin and 3 sisters of mixed origin. My dad has definitely had 4 of his own, and my mom definitely 3 of her own.
You didn't answer any of my questions.
Not one
I'm going to guess given the information I've obtained to date; You have one sibling, your brother, born of your parents. You have one half sister on your mother's side and two half brothers on your dad's side. You also have 2 step sisters and 5 step-brothers.
How did I do?

Perfect. And that makes you a liar since I apparently have done everything to answer your questions. As far as the step siblings go, not one family exceeded 2 boys nor 1 girl.

This pleases me.
I used the new information in conjunction with what I remembered from the old thread and extrapolated.

Only in my head.
The stuff I wrote about Mary's siblings was fuzzy but it felt right as I was typing. I do a lot of my best work this way - professionally, too.

As for me, had a bit of a family get together on Friday down my mam's. Drank a lot of her wine, it was rather nice. Went out for a meal to quite a posh restaurant on Saturday, I wasn't impressed with the goat cheese parfait nor the pollack main course - but the coffee was okay. Got wasted on decent chablis and I didn't pay, so it was worth it.
Went out with my mates to watch footie yesterday and got absolutely barry fuckled. I possibly got laid at some point over the weekend - I'd be amazed if I didn't, tbh, but I don't like to ask questions about that kind of thing.
It's a bit gauche.
Not even a MBM mentioned anywhere in that. Thanks for asking, my vacation was fine. :snooty:

If it makes you feel any better, I'll pick on your grammar; it surely should be 'an MBM'.

Nope, both 'a' and 'an' are acceptable in written form in this case since MBM is actually short for something.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I just had fun with an indian scammer on the phone, claiming to be from microsoft and offering to fixings my windows pc by getting me to open the event viewer and "see all the viruses" before trying to get me to install some remote access software for them
.
I managed a full 15 minutes of playing along without pishing myself laughing:smilie4:

You should have played along as if it were still a Windows 95 machine.

All of a sudden there's a gtfooh in it for me. You see, you can't actually use 'an gtfooh' in this case because whether you sound out the word or the abbreviation, they both start with a consonant.

You're laughing now but he might have helped you with that problem concerning the electrical charges in your attic breaking your internets when there's thunder outside :(

One of my earliest memories involves grammar, I asked a teacher why I needed to append the indefinite article but not the definite article (exceot in six year old speak). She told me that it was because we say 'thee' instead of 'the' when it precedes 'owl' (we were talking about owls).
It sounded like complete pish at the time but it's stayed with me and just recently it's started to sound right :eyebrows:

I just went downstairs to get more coffee and as I arrived at the bottom of the stairs I heard David Tomlinson singing "A British Bank" from Mary Poppins, and I immediately pictured you manker. It all rings true, professionally involved in finance, has an obsession with language and words being correct. I bet you even look like him? Dontcha?

You remember when I said "redundant" in that confusing post, here's the context.

Don't tell Mary I told you this because she gets terribly persnickerty when I pick her up on things. I tried to deflect her ire earlier and I think it's worked so mum's the word. Okay? Okay.
Basically because you were talking about how I refer to you on the internets, it's only the acronym which is relevant since I never call you aught else.
And also, how was your holiday? Plz post some pics or do something else.

I've never seen Mary Poppins but the description rings true altho' the aesthetics are a little off.
I've been told on a number of occasions that I look like Anthony Caleb Followill, so you can picture him when you're knocking one out to one of my posts later.
I'm fine with possessing a touch of wordular ocd, btw, altho' I do tend to ham it up a little.

And that all sounds I suppose a little bit restricted, but the point is I think within the ‘Avatar’ landscape I can say everything I need to say that I think needs to be said, in terms of the state of the world and what I think we need to be doing about it.

P.S. MBM isn't an acronym. Well, it would take a very talented Welshman to convert it so, but I'm not feeling hopeful.

Well, now. What retort is left now you've already negated my presupposed 'we don't use vowels in Wales so nerr'.
Je suis stumped.

And he's moving here to do it :fear: Weta Digital (a Weta is a huge New Zealand insect like a grasshopper on 'roids) and James Cameron are collaborating on the first project with the second projected as we speak. He has already purchased two farms here totalling over 1,000 hectares including the largest private lake in New Zealand and will be moving here. It was Weta and James Cameron which designed the totally new kind of 3D cameras and image processing systems which made Avatar such a success. But Avatar 4....
