Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
Not sure either, it's pretty much guess work. Unless you can find an English site with TV listings for the following channels:
ESPN Star Sports
CCTV5
Also Coolstreaming does not work anymore and the guy who made it released a new version to fix some server problem, i can get a URL for it if you want.
PPLive download: http://www.pplive.com/download.aspx
Install it, run then in the system tray double click the item and it loads a website with links to loads of channels (in Chinese tho :( )
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
That's not a bad plan - the Babel thing, I might give you a shout later, thanks.
SnnY is busy with wordery in a strange city atm, I think.

I was watching stuff on Coolstreaming this morning, so I guess I have the new version now.
Thanks for that, mate :D
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
No problemo, does anyone else think that if England take this then they have a good chance of winning the whole thing.
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
Definitely. If they win this then they'd be clear favourites in my eyes.
Tho' if they get Flintoff out cheaply tomorrow and England struggle to only 400 then the Aussies are in with a great chance of winning this one. Particularly if the wicket deteriorates on Saturday so that Warne can exploit the rough.
Warne bowled really defensively today (mostly around the wicket so he couldn't be hit around the field much) but once the pitch is more receptive, he will be bowling agressively and taking wickets. Plus McGrath and Gillespie can only get better next time out.
England won't have it so easy in the next innings.
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
Rain has stopped play with England 375-6.
Bell was the only wicket of the morning, Lee had him caught hooking before he could add to his overnight tally.
Forecast is bad tomorrow too, this could play out into a draw :(
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
23 off the last two overs (Warne and Lee). Both Flintoff and Jones are hitting out with style.
To attempt to stem the flow of runs, Ponting decides to bring Gillespie on for his first spell of the morning.
This is met with ironic cheers from the crowd :D
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
Both Flintoff and Jones have gone before getting a half century. England are now 434-8.
Gillespie got one of the wickets.

Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
Just turned it on, England all out for 444, Australia are 49 for 0.
Re: The Ashes on the Interweb?
82-3 now, England have had 2 wickets right after tea break. Ponting went first then some other random bloke.
