Guess what.

I received the repaired card today. It was detected by windows quite normally.
But when I tried t install the drivers, it failed in exactly the same way.
Now I have to send it back to Germany again, which will cost me an additional 28€.
Absolutely brilliant.

Hmmm, I was considering getting a terratec sound card. Guess I'll look at something else instead.
