Yeah seriously... If Dani Filth would just shut up, I would listen to alot more COF, but as his voice rakes my nerves after a few minutes, I rarely listen to them anymore. It's a shame really, because they have one of the most talented bands I've heard.
Outs the singer I say!
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?

agreed. parkway drive is teh shit. i'd go with 'blackout' and 'gimme a d' as my fav tracks.
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
I'll give parkway drive a go, sounds like fun. lol
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
You guys want real brutal?
Devourment - Molesting the Decapitated
Disgorge - Consume the Forsaken
Abysmal Torment - Epoch Of Methodic Carnage
This is some of the most brutal death metal you will likely hear. Brutal as it may be, it's still shitty music to listen to.
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
Slipnot isnt that hard lol...
In flames
Dimmu Borgir
Immortal
Behemoth
My buddies in a metal band, and they blow away slipnot..
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
slipknot can be a bit pony but seriously you dont get as a good a mix of listenable and heavy anywhere else.
the first 6 tracks or so of their self titled album are genius
The way they syncopate the beats is just genius too.
Decapitated - 'spheres of madness' is a wicked tune as well.
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
low by testament, final step by flotsam and jetsam. definitly rockin :)
Re: Heaviest song ever (metal/rock)?
Slipknot-Heretic Anthem
Slipknot-Eeyore
Slipknot-People=Shit
Slipknot-(Sic)
Mudvayne-End of all Things to Come (just because it disses tree huggers, and is real heavy)
Mudvayne-IMN
Mudvayne-Under My Skin
Mudvayne-Cradle
Chimaira-Clensation
^That's my playlist befroe every hockey game i play. I listen to it in the locker room right before we go out and play, and in between periods, fuckin heavy stuff that'll get you goin.

Self titled - Tracks 2-6 are some of the best, and heaviest songs I've listened to, when I say heavy I don't mean all out fucking crazy death metal (which Slipknot isnt), theres a good heavy that you can headbang to every day and not get tired, and theres the "over the top" heavy, I think I'll go with the good heavy.
Iowa - Only one I can think off from here is Disasterpieces and Heretic Anthem, Gently is awesome but its anything but heavy (still a brilliant song)
Volume 3 - not a single track in here is heavy, but to me, this album is the best Slipknot album and the best album in that genre ever, period. Every song is beautiful in its own right (except Welcome, Three Nil, and the Nameless).
