I'd have guessed that was your mind-set after your initial thread followed by the Gumbel quote.
It may be you've become captivated unintentionally owing to your immobility.
If this is the case (that you've developed a genuine interest, however latent), please don't be shy about admitting it. :P

Well see that's where you're manufactured outrage with the "Bryant Gumbel is your man" and "you just called me a racist" stuff came into play.
Post 13 in this thread already spoke to what you refer so there was no revelation.
Actually, with all Winter Olympics and part of the Summer, many will catch something while simply channel surfing. This genuine interest has not been "developed". I bet Skizo even caught some.
Right now I'm watching Team USA fuck up against Latvia in hockey.
1st 2 periods 3 - 2 Latvia's flavor. USA had a 2 - 0 lead in the 1st period.
I will not watch the third period. I wanna watch The Equalizer....Robert McCall and whatnot.
edit: corrected

Forgive me for pointing out they play three twenty-minute periods; no halves or quarters are...allowed.
However it works, Busyman-I'm glad you're watching MWB&G sports.

Uh...yeah. That makes sense that that's all you would say. Cool.
Oh and it's corrected.

Well, I did mean to ask why you even bothered with that asshole's commentary.
I knew your view without asking, but wondered what the other was in aid of.
Corrected-well done.

I didn't look at his commentary like you did.
I thought he just ripped the Winter Olympics. You focused on one line yet the points in his commentary have been shared by a multitude of sports writers....for years.

Quickly then-parse them all and give me figures on how many of them played the race card.
If you were so inclined, I'd say you would find....none.

Everyone that mentions race isn't racist, Kevin.
