What bit rate do you use these days ?

VBR for most stuff and FLAC for those 'special' albums.

If I am ripping and sharing, I do 320 VBR, for my stuff I get, it is normally .M4A or Bin & CUE

320kbps. Nice quality. :)

What is the max bit-rate your Ipod can handle? isnt it 128?

Lol no. It would be lossless, iPod's don't support FLAC out of the box but it does support Apple's Lossless codec (m4a)
