even in the us free speech is limited..you cant yell "fire!" in a crowded theater unless there really is a fire for instance..also new laws against "hate speech" have been passed...off topic just stirs my mind what some people think when they say the term "free speech"....Quote:

as far as ppl leaving...i think its their choice..and not much we can do about it other than to try to find out why and see if their can be some sort of compromise reached or problem addressed...alot of it has to do with time as in not enuf free time or other life issues cropping up....
sometimes i do get the feeling tho that their are some that would rather see this board either die or else become a smaller clique ladened community where only a few "elite" hang out....sometimes there seems to be an air of resentment hanging a dark shadow over certain posts...

Free speech is believing what you want etc without persecution.
The owners of this board can really ban you etc if they don't like what they think.
