µTorrent I Think..
have i recently said that uTorrent pwnz?? :D
I've been using Azureus, but I'm gunna try Utorrent, to see how it is... the interface looks really good, will need to download a popular torrent to see connection speed etc vs azureus!
I've used both clients and i have to say in terms of speed utorrent is the worst. Azerous is ok, but bitspirit is by far the best client i've used.
utorrent. I used Azureus for awhile and it sucked on resources
utorrent is the best 1 of all its highly packed and fast. i used it :)
azureus for me
I used Azureus before 2.0, but I now use uTorrent, simply because of the clean interface and low resource use.
I used to use Azureus but it was such a memory hog, use uTorrent doesn't use as much memory and I like the layout. uTorrent does not have as many plugins as Azureus though.
for my weak hearted computer utorrent.. Az will just do him a heart attack
for me they are both good, the only downside as mentioned above is the "JAVA" it greatly increases azureus's load on the computer, especially if left on for a long time
The question should be reather have you used them boath :D
Anybody even knows or uses all the options in Azureus ?
Azureus doesn't eats my memory soo i'll use it when i use s**ty torrents.
I'd have to say Azureus. I think it probably has too many features (half of which I don't even understand), but it runs on Linux and OSX and it's open source and is very stable.
Utorrent baby all thr way! Only client that really lets me upload high speeds.
Utorrent - no doubt.
you see... i simply just get better speeds with Azureus, im too set in my ways with it... and the memory hogging doesnt really bother me too much.
i have used uTorrent... it was good for a few days... i was considering uninstalling Az... then all of a sudden it cant connect to any seeds... no trackers were connecting properly (trust me i tryed loads) and just nothing even openoffice... so back to Az for me... maybe i'll give uTorrent another go but Az is allway's gona be there just because it never fails on me :-)
I've notested that Az is a bit better at seeding...:(
Hope µtorrent team improve that in the coming future :)
i love my azureus
I use both, different ones for different sites/torrents. Either one is a good fit for most people.
u torrent is much better tha azureus
Utorrent is smaller, smoother and cleaner.
Azureus was too much for my old system to handle as well, whenver i opened Azureus and Internet Explorer.
i sticked to µtorrent
it's easy to use, it's accepted on private trackers, and it's speed is completely ok
i can't say a bad thing about those two ... i use both of them.
They both eat ass corn if you ask me. I use BITCOMET
I like Utorrent
i have been useing utorrent for about three months now i find it very user freindly
and it has a very usefull help section and a good forum section
tryed bitcomet not bad but most sites wont except it
azureus tryed it once didnt like it to much work
so i say utorren all the way
just like to add this when you are downloading in 300kbs to 400kbs
ithink it is prity fast never was able to that with bitcomet
Bitcomet is nice if DHT is allowed.
Dumped Az for uT a few months ago - won't be going back (or swapping for some lame-ass bitcomet/bitlord/bitbullshit client.
enjoy =]
I think U Torrent ist the best, i use it over 1 Year. The download speed is ver fast!
U Torrent ILOVE YOU
I use µTorrent simply because it's customizable and it uses almost no system resources.
Utorrent because is the lightweight client.
utorrent for me
they both are about the same my end but azureus do use alot more memory than utorrent
Thanks for this thread and the comments.
I was about to try out Azureus after reading about it on another thread. I've only ever used uTorrent, which I like yet I have nothing to compare it to. After reading this thread me thinks I'll just stick with uTorrent. It seems to do the trick.
I like them both it really does depend on what you are using them for.
uTorrent is a lot lighter but azures does have a lot of useful features.
uTorrent for the lower cpu ussage.
neither uTorrent or Azureus... the number one is bitcomet ;)
no brainer, utorrent ftw.
