What ungodly hour does torrents.ru allow signups. I click on register and can't make out what it says, my russian (or whatever language that is) is a tad rusty. I'd like to check it out to see if it really does stand up as a solid replacement for Zamunda.

In my opinion it's a very solid replacement. An ocean of content and just as easy to keep a ratio. If Demonoid and Zamunda both were to vanish, then it wouldn't be as huge of a blow as long as Torrents.ru is still around. The amount and quality of content on there(especially the music and movies) is just amazing.Quote:

on torrent.ru, sometimes things get removed by the copyright holder's request as you are downloading it. this is quite scary, not to mention it kills your ratio because you can't seed it back. zamunda and demonoid would never do that.

OK I signed up to torrent.ru but I'm not having much luck navigating the site and I can't find anyway to translate it( can't even copy/paste it into googletranslate) .Also it's not working for me in firefox( Opera's OK ) although I've enabled cookies and javascript.:(

Nope I tried Google translate but it kept redirecting me back to the Russian login page and the original page wouldn't allow me to copy/paste .

Yes, Google Translate indeed redirects you to the real page when you attempt to submit a form, to prevent it from being used as some kind of Web proxy.
i used to download from zamunda.net via proxies bt when i tried it today tracker status says "offline(timed out)"...bt the tracker is working i think coz in their website peers and seeds are being shown n its not zero...is downloading through proxy over?if its working for any of u, please tell me the proxy address and port u are using...

I'm not using any proxy at the moment, since I haven't had to download Zamunda torrents lately. Wait for someone else that is using one to reply. :P

So, i think that this is because in Bulgaria could be accepted new law (anti-piracy law). This was in two words from me.
Switch the site to Bulgarian and then click on Начало. I read about this in one more site but there is no sense to copy and paste it here.
I wish good luck to the tracker and to the anti-piracy law. I hope it won`t be accepted. That means that the police will watch the transfer data log files from all of us (the Bulgarian internet users). The log files will be NEVER deleted.
