The liberal establishment not only ignores racist words and actions from Hispanic groups, but it has institutionalized racism against whites through “affirmative action” programs (reverse discrimination) and by treating blatantly and openly racist organizations such as La Raza (the KKK of Hispanics) as if they were mainstream organizations worthy of liberal praise and adoration (not to mention funding), and by the teaching of racist “ethnic studies“ in some public schools.

A good example of this liberal mindset is in this thread. If you go back and read every page of this thread you will find that leet has made a lot of blatantly and openly racist comments as well as some very anti-American comments (such as the ones about the Alamo), but yet the libs either ignored these comments or in some cases joined in and encouraged them. In the liberal mindset, racism is good as long as it is against white people.

I assume that many of the ideas from leet were spoon fed to him by ethnic studies classes as well as the broader La Raza movement in general.

As for the KKK, I would never join such an organization. They have absolutely no political power and are really a dead end for business contacts as well.

Since I’m L.D.S., I’m already a member of a much more powerful organization (at least in the western states) with some very high political and business connections and a great place for employment networking.

Depending upon which poll you trust, somewhere between 52% and 78% of Arizonans are in favor of SB 1070. And about 60% of Americans nationwide support SB 1070. I would say we are the silent majority and we were asleep, but now we are starting to wake up and see what is happening to our country and we are angry about it. The last one that got deleted was about me and Grandma eating ice cream in Scottdale and feeling welcome. How is that offensive? The one before, that was erased, was me posting why SB1070 would be stricken down. I wrote that it wouldnt go anywhere because of the supremacy clause. Why would they erase that?

I actually have received reports from this thread from well over a month and half ago. From the start l33t has been posting extremely hostile, racist posts that aren't allowed in the rest of the forums, let alone The Drawing Room, which as mentioned, is more strictly moderated. L33t has been warned multiple times and even put on moderation, yet still doesn't seem to take a hint. And yes, I have been receiving multiple complaints on his posting habits. I won't reveal who it is unless they want to, but rest assured people have been having griped with his posting habits since long before 999969999 starting posting in the thread.

I will admit however that I haven't gone through the entire thread, which I am at fault for. I will go through it again and make a decision on the other posts in this thread.

No, I delete the posts that are extremely racist and against our board rules. Someone complains to me about your posts, I look into it, and act accordingly. At its core, this conversation- and the Laws being attempted, IS RACE-BASED. There's no denying that. One can wrap themselves in security, economics, etc, but this is ALL about race. Even the LEGAL Mexican-Americans fall prey to its racist foundation.

The majority of those quotes were made long before 9 started posting in this thread, as I've said. And those were the posts he received infractions for. There is no "very much in context" for those posts, and the hostility was completely uncalled for. That is why he received multiple infractions for his posting habits, yet seems to remain vigilant on ignoring them.

However, I have gone through and read the thread, and I agree with your second point. This issue in its self is inherently based upon racist foundations, which makes it a very sticky topic to deal with (and moderate) indeed. Since these posts started to build upon themselves and get a little out of hand, in a topic where as you said, the topic racism really can't be avoided, I'll let them slide for now. Moderating this thread now will practically delete half the thread, so I'll leave the thread as it is (yes, that means your posts as well leet, in case you're thinking of making another clever remark about how biased I am). I will be warning 9 to tone down his posts a notch, and leet, keep in mind that just because someone else may be posting in aggressive manner doesn't mean you should retaliate as such.

However, I want to make it clear that from now on, any continuation of the discussion should remain clean and civilized, and if the pattern of the second half of this thread continues, I will be closing it to further replies. J2k4 and Clocker have been frequently posting and discussing the topics of this thread in a civilized manner without any of the hostile or racist undertones of leet/999969999's banter, and theres no reason that leet/999969999 can't post in a similar, civilized manner to contribute to the thread.

I still believe the best way to handle this thread is to move it to the Lounge and restore the deleted posts. Give everyone a clean slate. This one needs to get down and dirty, like any other social issue that needs blood to get resolved- mere niceties don't work, nor belong with racial injustice. History show this again, and again.

The struggle between a minority group, and the majority is one of power. If that majority decides to keep acting unjustly, the minority population is left with no other option, but a show of force- on so significant that the majority is left with balancing the joys of domination over the minority, and the fear it faces of their discontent.

As I said, civility has no place in a discussion regarding laws based in the abuse of a minority group by a racist majority. While many individuals may not consider themselves racist- especially when they are following the political winds of the times, they still are acting qas racists. These individuals need to hear the voices of the minority. Whispers do not work, nor belong.
