me... im a social trainer... which means i work with the intellectually handicapped teaching them the skills to live within the community rather than institutions... at times its a real shitty job... but most of the time... it has its own rewards.. :) :) before that i worked with street kids, abused kids, wards of the state... i needed a change though coz that is really emotionally draining... i ended up wanting to foster all of the kids... and that isnt good!... :lol:

thats just the thing though titey.... you have to have that tendency to be emotional about the job because you can't possibly work in that field if you don't have a genuine love of people... :)

i work for the government so i have the option of moving around other government sectors... which is terrific!..
another job i did was in the Ministry of Justice as a youth worker... i worked in a Juvenile Remand Center... did that for two years... and again i had to make the change because i found myself becoming a little emotive with some of the remandees... working with kids who had raped and in some cases murdered others became very difficult... especially when it involved old women and little children... :(
