Your post started off the end product of teh pruning (I thought that would happen).

High scores are just that. If one person has the top 6 scores so be it. Beat at least the sixth one. I like to see folks going at it. I like when you can see someone trying to get the high score but missed it 3 times.

A person with 2 high scores is just good like that. He ain't spamming ffs.

Leave it competitive. Leave the record be.

I see your point, but I can also imagine somebody filling up the front page just for the sake of it with the same stupid comment.

Agreed.

I have been accused of the "same stupid comment" thingie when using form fill ffs.

Having played videogames in the arcade and seeing the same name kill the high score table just makes this seem very illogical and placative.

Can we not have high scores like this:

Overall high scores as the main one (with the top score of each person).

And then links to -

Week/Month High Scores
Overall high scores with all scores (ie every score a person has made on that game).

That means there is a score table to satisfy everyone.

I think the times are affected in the same way as the comments because of the "highest score only" thing. Looks like it only records the comment and time for the user's first attempt on the scoreboard and carries them forward to subsequent attempts.

He just got 124 during a challenge with me as well. Funny all of a sudden a score which never went much over 100 is now multiplying so fast :dry:

Ok now I will say that iMartin's 9999 score in Cutie Quake is fake as can be.

However, I won't say that he cheated but the game itself may have fucked up.

The same for callum's 800+ score (even though that's more believable).

To get a super high score you must

Have perfect accuracy
Never let one Cutie escape
Never get shot
Have all head shots
Be fast since the faster you kill, the faster more Cuties appear.

Having almost done this with a 379 score (I remember someone having a 399 score) makes a score over 200 points higher nearly impossible unless there are bonuses.

Either way I say leave the scores be.

He does cheat. He's told me himself. I know how he cheats as well.

okay umm you know wht i will make a video lol shoing me play that game and give it to u all so i can prove i dotn cheat lol any software that can record whts onthe screen , i tried captivate but it aint recoding the flash

Just now, first playing Space Invaders and then on Asteroids...they turned themselves off for no apparent reason. Just back to the arcade home page.

Also, I thought the buildings were supposed to renew themselves at each level on Space Invaders :blink:


Anyone else have this problem?

It's supposed to progressively get worse in the flash game.

Well your other hand is free during the game, so why not get a screenshot of anything past 100?

Just press the PRINT SCREEN button and then paste the image into Paint. Save, host the image somewhere and then shut all those who say you are cheating up for good.

If it were me, I wouldn't prove a damn thing. :snooty:

I wasn't having a go at you just goading Neo to prove his score as he has offered to. Mainly because I'm genuinely interested to know how he did it to be honest. I've played that game a lot and only have one score about 100 let alone 700.
