You Must Be A Member 30 days AND Have 10 Posts To Use The BT Invites Section

That is why there is a option to view prior post by any user... Thus giving members the oportunity to see if there are "fluff" posts or valid posts on any given thread. So if someone makes the 30 day wait and has 20 posts that consist of "yep" "I agree" or any other 1 liners, the member offering the invite or trade can clearly see they are not contributing to the community and are here only to scam or get into private trackers.

This is a great board and there has not been one question that I have asked that has gone unanswered. From software questions to tracker info, this is a great resource to everyone. Take your 30 days and learn something from the community. We all think we know everything, but there is always someone else out there that knows more.

The idea is that we get to know members through quality posts.

If all they post is "fluff" posts, then people should be careful about trading with them in the first place. That can be difficult to spot with only 5 posts, it becomes more obvious with 20.

These sort of posts (such as meaningless "thank you" posts) are going to be weeded out where possible.

Edit: what's more, I must remember to do a refresh before posting, then I'll see later posts like the one above.

seems to me that lots of people just try and use these forums for searching for invites and not much else constructive !

That's like saying people only use google to search for the information they want

Isn't google just mainly used for searching,what other major things can you do with it ?

When are we going to do something about the spamming members looking for their 20th post ? They seem to be all over the forum today on their anniversary date . Sad really eh ? Change to 20 threads , ban ?
