I was starting to think I was the only one in the world who had no idea if girls could be Eagle Scouts or not. Matter of fact, I was also clueless as to what an Eagle Scout was.
Until I sat back and thought about it ... only those brought up in America and Gary Glitter would take a specific interest in researching the topic.

Well, you have Boy Scouts, you have Girl Scouts. It's fairly easy to discern that they're gender specific.
The prefix 'Eagle' is more generic. Wouldn't you say.
