What FPS got u started?

what's this xbl stuff?

and as for golden eye for the 64... it was good? how? i've never played it, but member it getting crazy good reviews. how is it better than other fps' out at that time or is it the fact that that was the only fps on the 64 at that time? either way, i don't have the skillz to use a controller for my fps'. i need kb & mouse thank u.

Goldeneye and it's sequal Perfect Dark are two of the best games ever made, and the both rank in the top 5 FPS's ever made. They were light years ahead of there time and are still extreamly enjoyable to play now, dispite the obvious graphical advances in more modern games.

Goldeneye was great. Perfect Dark was ok.

XBL is Xbox Live.

And then of course Wolfenstein 3D, even bought a new computer with a bunch of RAM just to make bigger maps in the editor :D Crashed a damn 486 DX4 100MHZ with it, but it was fun while it lasted.

Goldeneye was the first fps that i really, really enjoyed.

Then I got Halo and Counter Strike.. :)

halo for the pc or console? are there even any differences between the two? i've have and have played halo on the pc and i like it. i'll have to reinstall it sometime so i can beat. a format killed the flow. hum, as do they always. i liked the ai in halo. thought they were semi smart and funny.

Doom - shareware version (DOS). Started it all for me...

Definitely DOOM 95.
