Ironicly my strong Dragon Bishop saves my day by sacreficing itself. I play the Dragon allways when possible with black and therefor I have a schizofrenic thing that I like my black Bishop better then my white B and try to preserve it as long as possible in all openings :) But in this position I cannot resist.

ROFL. When u mentioned the bishop sacrificing itself, i didnt even hav to look at the position in my pgn viewer to know that im in trouble. Very nice tactical shot that i overlooked. This is going to be very ugly for me in the next few moves after the Bxb2 sacrifice as i can see your rook occupying the B file plus the light bishop in the a2-e6 diagonal plus being down on exchange.

I played Qa5 (standard square for the queen in the sicilian) very quickly and after Rd5 I banged my head thinking it was indeed a draw . (I wanted to play on this interesting game)

well, I made jpgs of every position after a move is made and used Advanced Batch Converter to convert them to gifs, resized all of them (because Imageshack accepts only 1.5 mb or smaller images) with image resizer and made an animated gif using UnFREEz.
wow thats a lot of work. I wonder if i can implement in this forum something like those in chessgames.com where theres just buttons one can press to replay/rewind the game at their own speed. Anyway, I resign :( My king is too exposed and my kingside pieces are still undeveloped. Theres no point. Good game though. I ran this through Fritz9 and it actually recommends capturing the 2 rooks starting on the 13th move. Oh well, thats why im just a mere human and not a machine, lol. Let me know if youre interested in playing another one.
Thank you for the game. It was a potential nice fighting game. I wonder what the outcome would have been with the 2R - Q game. I have no clue. probably the stronger player will win.
I am planning to join our local chessclub again in 2007 and I will ask ''our master'' (we have one offical FIDE master in our chessclub hehehe) and others what they think of the position) btw one of the best dutch GM's , Loek van Wely played chess at our humble club when he was a kid. He ofcourse had to move on because he was too good (or the club was too bad) after some time when he became club champion.
Sure I like to play a game again.
