The middle of the day, I usually get hungry at 1pm...if I've not eaten my work is the last thing on my mind.

I take lunch, if I can, between 11:30am-1pm.
If it gets too late, I don't take one.
I pretty much buy my lunch at any of the various dives downtown. If it gets too late, I may as well save my money and eat at home.
I don't understand people who buy their lunch at work....I just can't get on with people like that. Not that I'm judgemental or anything....
