There are actually Muslim priests encouraging people to find and kill the person that drew the pics. Maybe I'm stereotyping a bit here, but knowing the situation there, I feel entitled to do so.
Oh and I am not saying this just because of newspapers and TV. While I haven't been in the center of it all, my sister was forced to be there as she was attending school there for 3 weeks. Not being able to sleep at night because of police- and firetruck sirens and even shootings. Always seeing smoke somewhere etc.
