I hate the ridiculously high memory usage of Chrome..
I've had nothing but serious problems with Chrome. I used Chrome on my laptop with XP and the Windows XP after two days had some serious problems loading pages, script problems, then wouldn't load any pages at all, went back to FF. I used Chrome on my Desktop with Vista.....everything was fine for a week, then my motherboard fried........Chrome is an evil browser....
I use chrome with vista as my default browser. It's just waaaaay faster than firefox on my laptop. The homepage links are also very useful. All I really need as far as plugins is adblock, really.
Eh. I have a valid copy of Vista and I'd rather not bother with migrating to 7. Where there's an immediate and heavily noticeable speed difference with no hassle in migration, I'll go with the quicker option.
chrome is lightweight, but when using its addons, chrome take a lot more RAM than ff
Google chrome is a quick browser. One of the things I like about it is the fact that you can google search terms in the website bar.
Even thought I don't like to admit, like many of us here I'm addicted to my plugins,
we are more liberal with our selection of browser, so we choosed the firefox when there wasn't lots of options, and we got addicted.
I really feel myself naked without noscript, my eyes hurts without adblock, I need my Tab Mix Plus, I need my FireFTP, I need my bookmark managers. There is no way I can do without them.
But if google gives little incentive to developers it will have a better chance.
