I don't think bitmetv bans countries but they discourage users from inviting people from certain places, the bitmetv staff are actually very helpful unless your asking questions that have been asked 100 times before in which case they tell you to search the forums.

TorrentBytes banned parts of Brazil
Might have just been the "Telemar" ISP
BitmeTV seems to have also banned the same ISP, they are the major internet provider in the northeast. (ADSL technology)
Once I managed to connect to BitmeTV using tha internet cable company.
