i think the beginning of December, i will have to try and get in on a Friday eve, so i have healing time before work.
im only going Iceland, not that much fun.
i think i will get meself a bottle of wine too.
what tattoo are you going for RGX?
Im designing a snake at the mo, im not sure whether to get it on my arm in big or smaller runing down from my belly button, I know the stoumach will hurt way more but it would be worth it
Its not going to be one of those coloured in "80's hair metal snakes" but a black and white outlined one, a cobra pulling back to strike with its mouth open and fangs out, im really putting a load of effort into it to stop it from looking cliched or stupid, when the design is done i will post it up here
Im also starting a band with a few friends, so when we have the logo finished and a name for our band i might have it tattoed, even if we broke up the day after it would still mean something to me, and would always have a story behind it
I really like the look of a lot of the tribal stuff but I dont want to mix it with coloured in ones, so ill have to shop around :)
you can always ask them to change colouring or stuff when you go to see the tattooist. my tribal thing over me belly was meant to be the other way up with more lines, but i asked him to change it all around for me.
the snake wont be coming out your belly button will it?
that would hurt! :o
lol, nah, running from the head being at my belly button, to its coiled up body being lower down, i happen to be the owner of a low-down set of pubes, so theres room for it, plus when i play guitar with my shirt off the head of the snake will be seen :D (the tattooed snake, no other snake heads <_< )
on my arm would look cool too, theres thinking to be done :)
sounds different at least, you gotta show us the designs sometime. ;)
i remember seeing one in a magazine a while ago, the snake's tail was on his ankle bone wrapping itself around his leg, then belly and finishing on his shoulder, where the snakes mouth was open ready to bite.
it looked so good, but painful. :P
i'm not here to get flamed, and i've avoided this subject as long as i could (till lilmiss's comment on the dude's snake that started at his ankle and went up to his shoulder), but:
could someone please tell the appeal of tatoos? i have always hated them for some reason, no matter who they are on and no matter what they are.
Its something permanent, it takes a lot of wilpower to get one, it uses your body as a canvas, and you can express yourself permanently on something which is yours
its something that when planned out well, is the most expressive way of art. you get to carry it around with you all the time, and it generally tells a story about who you are.
it shows endurance, and imagination.
i hate my b/f's tattoo's, but admire him for doing what HE wanted with his body.
and im eternally grateful for his piercings too. ;)
its a rock thang. http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Lynne1977uk/rocking.gif
