Last camping trip our 'neighbor' in the spot up the road (only one near by) had his 6 year old and was teaching him to shoot.

Took the opportunity to teach my 6 and 9 year old to shoot that day.

I think everyone should know how to shoot a gun and handle one properly if needed. Even those who never plan to own one.

Edit: I'm white and drive a 'nice' car. Everyone hates me. Seemed to come with the car upgrade...

I don't believe in guns but I still understand that I may need to kill someone someday so that's why I own alcohol and a car.

Ok is there a little white lie in there:unsure:. Really it was your neighbors fortified compound cottage, and you exaggerated them being M16 rifles for a semi automatic Nerf Guns?? Just Kidding Buddy!!, again i have no problem with the 2nd Amendment, but i do think parents are responsible to make sure that kids are raised to respect what guns can do to people and not have Timothy McVeigh posters and idolize him......

In my neighborhood pretty much everyone has a half descent Lexus or BMW for there everyday car , they are only disliked when you see a Ferrari in the driveway :lol:

Well he did have an assault rifle that we (him and I) shot. Boom... The kids had a single shot rifle: cute, kid sized, and ready to kill. Even those small shells would do the job easily enough.

I don't own any guns myself but will continue shooting with my boys when the opportunity comes up in a safe environment
