Rap....I'm not going to knock it...my kids seem to love it,though I screen all of it because it seems to be either about getting naked or being violent...the closest I get to rap since the the days of the Sugar Hill Gang is Kid Rock...I just like that song cowboy...

Clearly to say, ruhroh, that rap is all about nudity and violence you clearly show that you know nothing about it.
The roots, common, heck, even most of your main stream rappers dont just rap about sex and violence.
I think people read Entertainment weekly, or watch ET! and hear, "eminem bashes mom on new song!", and just assume well, all of eminems stuff is violent, and no good can come of it, and often times, this attitude transfers to the whole genere... which is a total shame.
Oh well, till we can all grow and become our own independant thinkers.
