uTorrent is way better than other clients i've used (like bitlord or azareus) but it has some problems with Avast antivirus and it's P2P Shield. But i still use it :p
I turn off the p2p shield instead! :D

Hasnt Azureus been banned by many private trackers?
azureus works fine with demonoid, i dont know about any other private trackers....
uTorrent had problems with my nVidia firewall, but it was no problem. The firewall wasn't even that good.
I was an Azureus user for many years until I recently tried utorrent.
I've made the switch.
uTorrent for me - it's small and clean. Azureus seems a bit too bloated. I use it in Linux though, since you need to run uTorrent through Wine.
I like them both, but have problems seeding on private trackers with Azureus. I switched to uTorrent and now get better upload speeds.
i've used azureus for a couple years now, but i'm getting tired of the memory drain
im going to give utorrent a chance, since ive heard so many good things about it in this thread
either way, i'll still get my torrents!
Forever love you azureus forever..
utorrent is by far superior, especially for users that don't use many plugins.
It is way less of a resource hog than azureus.
azureus is easy to use lol
I always start to wonder when I hear this sort of statement. Being fairly new to bittorrent...what else would I use a torrent client for other than downloading torrents and seeding torrents?
uTorrent seems to do both of these well, and has a small footprint. Is there something else I can do in the torrent world that Azureus affords me and uTorrent does not?
:dabs:
uTorrent all the way.
Its always been good to me. :)
had lots of problems with azureus and it just hogs my PC resources. utorrent FTW
i've been using azureus for year and a half.. then tried uTorrent, and no color
utorrent dload as fast as azureus and much better performance :w00t:
switched from azureus to utorrent a few months ago, and never looked back since. It's so amazing to have a program which as much functionality as i need as utorrent in such a small package. add to the fact that it doesn't use that much resource space as well is a welcome bonus.
utorrent is smaler lighter... runs perfectly on my system
utorrent is hopeful
utorrent
I once used azureus, till i found out how much resources it ate
Then i switched to bitcommet till it got banned for the DHT leak problem.
finally i switched to uTorrent and i am very pleased - great functionality, low resource consumption, no *known* security leaks on public sites.
So i would have to say uTorrent!
From my experience, uTorrent is much faster at startup and overall performance compared to Azureus. uTorrent doesn't require you to install JRE, and you don't even have to install uTorrent itself (just run the single file, and that's it). uTorrent also takes up a lot less memory than Azureus.
I know these things from experience because I just recently switched from Azureus to uTorrent, and I'm so much happier because of it.
both apps are great, but I go with uTorrent due to low memory consumption.
Azureus on my computer is faster and is a better program. I can never get utorrent to be like Azureus tried many times! :D
uTorrent is the best torrent client out there, in my opinion. It's very light, and simple, without missing any features.
I switched from bitcomet to utorrent, but am having a hard time opening up my torrent sits. What was nice about bitcomet was you could open up 3-4 torrent sites through there site and not have 4 web pages open. Does anyone know if utorrent will do this?
tested both. I prefer µtorrent, due to the small memory usage.
uTorrent is much better
i might give utorrent a try..Azureus is good but take up too much mem.
azureus
utorrent for sure, doesn't eat my resources like azureus
u torrent
i like azureus better than utorrent.
they all good but i think that azureus is better....
View signature. :)
Azureus did use about 50% of my system recources (P4 3,2GHz) while µtorrent uses less than 2%.
So I use µtorrent
I now use Azureuz and yea it "eats" memory, but its really good besides that. but im councidering switching to U-torrent! but im afraid that its "banned" on lot of sites? or im i wrong? or is it just some older versions?
I've used both of them, and I think that uTorrent is better, Azureus uses too much of system resources.
I use only uTorrent with no problem
