Rap or Rock?

I'd take good ol' Hip-Hop over both rap and rock any day. But for the sake of this poll i'm picking rock over rap. Even rap today is junk.

rock by far, but some rap is OK with me. as long as it sounds like the rapper put some time into thinking out the lyrics and it has a good beat.... which is rare these days.

I listen to both... well, I listen to everything just about! But rock moreso than rap, I'd say.

Rock for me. Rap is one of the only genres of music I really can't stand.

why can't i like both. I mean all the artist seem to be trieing to bridge the gap between genres but noone seems to notice.

You are right, but rock will always be more rock than rap and rap will always be more rap than rock. There are a lot of people who like both, there's nothing wrong with it.
