Eat as much fresh fruit and vegetables as you want ffs. The carbohydrates in them are unprocessed and absolutely fine. Just don't go down that Atkins mentalist route, or any sort of starvation nonsense, it changes your metabolism and not in a good way. Exercise on the contrary changes it in a good way.

Eat a balanced calorie controlled diet, allied to a reasonable exercise regime. Remember, taking Ben a walk in his buggy for half an hour is good exercise. From a calorie burning point of view it burns the same energy as jogging the same distance, more actually as you are pushing an extra weight. It doesn't do as much for your cardio-vascular system but it is good for it. Oh and he'll enjoy it.

You need to go for a sensible sustainable programme of health eating and moderate exercise, just lifestyle adjustment really. There's no point in mentalism or fads.

I feel into the unfortunate habit of eating something sugary whenever I start to feel tired throughout the day. My belly is turning flabby :fear:

Plus, I hardly ever used to eat stuff like pasta, rice, bread etc., but when I had Ben I had to start eating loads of carbs for my body to be able to produce enough milk.

He now mainly lives on normal food with the occasional drink inbetween still, so I can finally cut all that stuff out.

I normally go to the gym 3 times a week, unfortunately, I seem to have fucked my shoulder pretty badly so that;ll be out of the question for the next few weeks :(
