Updates For Arcade And More

with regards to the time vs score argument, I have just beat my own record in the 3D car game. My time under the high score still says 43secs. however, if you look under the weekly high scores, it says 1415. it updates the score on the front page, but not the time it seems, cause 43secs is what I had before too. I do have a screenshot this time btw.... :rolleyes:

the new games doesnt show how much kb they are.

Could we maybe get rid of Mario? There are no enemies, no sound for me, and at most you can score an eight. If you can cope with the boredom, that is.

You'll see them if you click on the numbers near Record or Played, under the game's name.

removed the description for the Hulk game

love the new game, although i think you must have cheated to get a score that high IKE :P, i struggled to get my score :O

{I}{K}{E} and I were talking on msn earlier and decided we weren't going to do the pruning.
Well, atleast not monthly. Possibly every 3 or 6 months (less stress on the server if their's less scores).

Sorry, I'm being a bit arsey 'cos I just got in from teh pub. 3-6 months sounds better, if there is a server issue then I, myself, would begrudgingly accept a deletion of scores at some point.

Though if there is a way of keeping a person's top scores then that would be great. I have no idea how it all works, and you've done a fine job in setting it all up as it is (I hate to sound ungrateful..).

At the moment we are just having a person's top score show up (all other lower scores of the same person don't show up), does that create a genuine problem in saving that statistic each month?

" .... if their's less scores." doesn't really work, on two levels.

Firstly you probably mean there are, as opposed to their are. It's a homonym thing.

Secondly, even if you were to change it to "there's" then that would be a contraction for "there is". As in there's (there is) someone at the door. However you are referring to "scores" which is plural, so "there is" doesn't work.

Just thought we should clear that up.

it's a bug in the arcade. if you check the 'Weekly High Scores' the time is shown correct

Ah, cool, did my head in it did, started thinking some saucers were worth a hell of a lot more than others :lol:

Tried checking the total time he'd played in the entire arcade too and it said four minutes.

Talk about skillz :lol:


Edit: can't see scores that far back, but I'll take your word for it.
