He's not like billy, with whom you could measure the level of rage by the number of :lol:s, or anything.
There are definite parallels.
They should be introduced. Although I don't think that The Club is still going, I haven't checked but anything that shite couldn't possibly have lasted.

I don't really care if he understands it, as long as there isn't any swearing and the world doesn't end.
Had a workmate ask me nearly the same thing earlier and I'm gonna tell you what I told him, avoiding any spoilers, which is to say:
Might want to avoid that before you've seen it, yourself. Depends on the child, really.

I think they broke up the band about when you disappeared. IIRC, Rikk went mental beyond the tolerable and in the aftermath they went their separate ways, starting separate boreds.

Okay background for you to use your skillz:
He cried when he watched Deep Impact (when the comet was about to hit, I think) with teh missus but he's fine with the fighting in Nikita and I've sat him through many a space battle. I reckon he'd be scared if we watched Supernatural but I'd have no problem with him watching Lost or Heroes but nothing like Spartacus or Californication, obv.
It's more for me than him.
I watched Top Cat the Movie last night and that 90 mins of inane brain melting drivel has made me less than keen for a similar experience ce soir.

Hoi retard,
I got banned to "force me to move on irl" by manker, so I'm circumventing a meaningless ban imposed by an unlikeable man who banned me because he doesn't like me.
I won't be stopping doing that. Especially upon the dictate of a man who tells me it's essential I should move on because my real life is too wrapped up in the board, when he was the one who decided he could use my real name to wrap my real life up in the board.
Fucking mentalists.
Those of us who aren't hard of thinking have realised that manker wouldn't be a mod, or have banned you, had it not been for the administration (and pretty much every member in the lounge) wanting you to quit being, well, you. And as for moving on, well, it's either that or remain a joke. It's not as we're gonna wake up one day and think "Oh gee. That dave sure had a point there when he contradicted himself for the 37th time. We'd best start believing him now".

Hmm. Well. Not much swearing iirc. Maybe a "fuck" or two. Some shit like that. People get shot, but it's not very graphic, and it's almost always bad guys. But there still is some blood and a fair few explosions. Stuff gets dropped on a fair few civilians running around.
Spoiler:
Show
Going into the end credits there's nukes all over the place, but the pow is so far away from the earth he might not know what's going on.
I could definitely have watched it when I was eight, myself.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Currently in a meeting, got a raving review on the progress of my current paper. This does not motivate me to work more, I feel like I can finally get drunk again.

This is the dumb shit I would post to facebook if I was still using it, and on top of that, it'd probably be the only post for a month.

Ahh, I can't let him watch anything where they say 'fuck'. Not until he goes to big school and starts taking up swearing professionally.
Cheers for the synopsis, though, matey.
I'll just have to lace his milkshake with vodka again and get him to bed by nine.

Congrats on the mentalist review, however.

Fuck that shit, tell your son I said so. Meg's 100 % with me on this.
Spoiler:
Show
Apparently none of you cunts are with me on this. All of your severencies are too high for the diction/context ratio.

To redeem yourself, do a spot of wallpapering when you get home and post some pics.
I'm serious, btw. That shit interests me.

Nope.
No idea.

What a great idea, I've got an even more ideal idea which involves conversing using words that mean something.
Idk if it's ever going to catch on, though.
Maybe if we switched 'high' for 'low' and 'severencies' for 'tolerance levels' it would make a peck of sense. I can't think of single word interchange which would sort it out more smoothly.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I saw a movie called severance once. It was decent. Body parts coming off here and there.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Right I'm away for a week, or something else. I'll be back on the 11th.
Happy 10th birthday FST, (10th June) and see ya later. Don't go mental :smilie4:

Oh that's right, pull the trigger and leave us to clear the mess you made of Dave's brain.
Have a good 'un, matey :]

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Long weekend sup, cunts.
It's taken me nine glorious years to realise that I could edit my profile daily and make it my birthday every day.
Youse cunts would be obliged to make me a birthday thread every day, and I would win the internets.

Have you learned nothing from comedic villains and Dave.
You never reveal your evil plot to win the internets til after you've won.
Lest you'll lose the blonde and your sanity all in one fell swoop.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I should be on a bit tonight, since Snee's informed me that I'm not allowed to watch Iron Sky, but I'm away for the weekend to swank it up in the smoke.
Be back Tuesday, I think.
Enjoy your movieworld spam and Dave til I return.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Yeah, well, I'm sure I've got another diabolical scheme laying around somewhere. I used to be tripping over them.
It's not easy being evil when everyone's the devil.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
What's that...yes. Yes I think I can hear dave's synapses firing all the way here. Slowly. I expect he's preparing posts about how ure all so mean and he's proven you wrong and...

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Tendency to severity. Anyways, it might not be squeams's fault for the spoiler thing. Works fine when I go full site, but not in the mobile skin

Noice! My current papers have been shit. I knew it, but unfortunately, my prof. recognized it, to... I did ask her if the "C" at the end of the paper was her initial, or my grade. :(

Never heard of her but vampires, you say :smilie4:
The premise seems stupid but the trailer looks hawt.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I like the premise being sooo totally B-movie, but it being a big budget blockbuster (which apparently came from a well-regarded novel). Looks lyke pure win to me. :w00t:

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Tarantino did that, though, and it was shite. Like utter shite.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Missus's birthday tonight, wunnit. Peacefully passed out on the sofa, breakables intact. That's a merciful thing.
Peace and good will to all men. Except Dave, like.

Sorry.
I didn't realise you hadn't watched them.
Spoiler above for anyone else who hasn't been put through what seems like seventeen hours of drivel.

Being from Wales, you probably just don't get the Action genre. :idunno:

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I think Tarantino is only to blame for the first one.
We're talking Dusk to Dawn aren't we?

I wouldn't say that.
I caught myself thinking about how cool Bruce Willis' distracted way of conversing with his co-stars is while I was watching Top Cat last night. All I wanted was to be watching Die Hard.
He looks around, lights cigarettes, applies bandages and unguents to battle wounds. Basically anything apart from look as if he is engaged in the conversation.
But he is :smilie4:

QT makes movies that are like Die Hard, it just involves ninja swords and Samuel Jackson. Occasionally Travolta makes an appearance, but QT can be forgiven for such choices. There's enough gratuitous violence to make up for casting errors. It even pays off when Travolta gets shot...
Tarantino rocks, IMO. I always look forward to his movies.
