I watched, so I should know precisely what Maddow said and it was something along the lines of Fox cut their coverage of the trial an hour before the break and therefore an hour before any other network. Hardly "Fox News hasn't been covering the trial".
As for that has transpired in said trial. Simple case of cause and effect. Near impossible to refute if one is being impartial.
Obviously the defense only play is to try and show that Trump's words didn't rise to the level of incitement but with all the taped evidence showing otherwise they really can't, not that it will make any difference.

I said it was a joke, I never said it was funny. I also never said that I watched The Rachel Maddow show. I only said that I had seen what she had said on that particular subject. It might have been a clip that was played on Faux Knews for all that statement of having seen it implied.
