...or just get the train all the way up to the top :whistling
Snowdon isn't really a proper mountain anyway, more like a large hill. Having said that it did hail once when we were up there in like, May or something.
I'd be very surprised if there's snow on the top in November, tbh.
How's the skiing in itlay this time of year?
I have completely lost the plot. I was just writing out an envelope after putting my sick line in it for work, to my frustration, I couldn't find the book of stamps the husband just brought back.
Turns out I put them inside the envelope. :frusty:
Also, because of this morning sickness, I have lost 11kg in just under a month (app 24 lbs)...
That's liek getting bulemia without the guilt.
Score.
Pogues show is coming up on Wednesday but all today I have been coughing, feeling chest pressure, and feeling hot. I better not be getting the flu. :(
Gonna head off to bed early tonight and get some rest. Will have to buy a thermometer tomorrow maybe.
I don't think I've been sick since I had strep throat in like '99 and I'm pretty sure I've never had the flu.
What do sick people do when they have the flu since antibiotics don't help? Drink OJ and get rest or something else?
Fluids and rest, Skiz.
BTW, while OJ is an excellent source of Vitamin C - it might upset your stomach. Flat 7-UP, ginger-ale, or Sprite are better options.
I'm a bit of an expert, like. I get sick quick. My immune system must be weaker than water, man.
-doobs
paracetamol
water
sleep
repeat -
try hot lemon ginger and honey tea, it boosts your immune system, or even chicken soup can give you x 10 energy too.
Strange thing just happened. We were in the car and Ben had just eaten a biscuit so I wanted to wipe his face. I stuck my hand in the little pouch behind the driver's seat, because that's where I keep the wipes.
For some reason I can't find the wipes, so I stick my hand in a bit deeper and guess what I found?
A bloody PSP with Grand Theft Auto in it :o
We don't really take other people in the back of our car because of the car seat, so we think it must have belonged to the guy we bought the car off over a year ago!
Hahaha win :01:
I just need to find a wee adaptor for it, but it looks like the standard 6V so I'm sure I've got one of those lying about.
Just contact the guy you got the car from to see if he still has his lying around somewhere... He might even have some more games n' stuff...
D'you think he would give them to me?
Seriously, I don't have his number anymore but I suppose I could find it. D'you think I should contact him?
Valuable advice Barbie, as ever.

You will be thinking now, well I've got a PSP, and I want to use its full potential by hacking it. That's fair enough, as there are a lot of things you can do with a hacked PSP over a not-hacked PSP:
- Play full PSP game backups, known as ISOs
- Run homebrew (user made applications)
- Play old PS1 games
- Run emulators for old systems such as the NES, SNES, GBA, N64 and more
- Change your PSP's theme
The first thing you need to ask yourself is what type of PSP to do you have?
Allen, our resident games console hackster.
Brilliant. I just sat with Ben on my lap and had a whole conversation with him. He obviously doesn't say any words but he is using the correct tone, in his mind, he is telling me all about his day.
Who could've known a one-year old could be this much fun??
Just bought the husband's Christmas gift; two tickets for Michael McIntyre.
I hope he decides to take me
Application by post on a yellow postcard.
i want a baby too
I can't help you in that department. I'm not having any more.
What is your secret? Did you screw planned wised or free wise, with passion?
Well, the first time it took us over 1.5 years to conceive, and that was with tracking my period etc on the calendar and taking the ovulation tests they sell.
The second time was just pure chance. I wasn't using any protection and it's not like we were having loads of sex (you tend to start seeing your bed as just a place for sweet sweet sleep when you have a child under 1) and I was breastfeeding (which is meant to reduce fertility).
However!
On both occasion I had been on a diet for a few months that was naturally high in folic acid. It had nothing to do with trying to conceive, it's just the usual stuff I do when I need to lose some weight; cut out all carbs except for a few dark Ryvita crackers, eat lots of grapefruit and melon, fresh vegetable soup every day and steamed chicken or fish with more green veg for dinner.
There is some research that indicates a link between diet and fertility but then again... In the end it just happens when it's meant to happen.
How many more do you think you'll have, Skweeks?
-doobs :whistling

Just did my first ever overclock :smilie4:

Won't be able to game some until Saturday tho'.

We thought you were dead or summink.
School is rough.
My final two semesters are coming up (well, plus a summer), but I'll probably be postin' more pish than your tank can handle because I'll just be takin' my seminars next (well, except my summer to finish off my final elective).

:w00t: w00t
So we're invited to a Halloween party on Saturday night.
I stupidly assumed that you can still buy baby outfits at this moment but most of the shops have sold out. :o
Why would they not just stock up on them? It's not like they won't be able to sell the overstock next year?
Have you ever woken up in the early afternoon and still been so hungover that you could swear you were at a Pogues show the night before and drank like an Irishman?
