scroll down - and mark - "drop shadow for icons..."

yea im using XP
white background dont go so well with drop shadows

and you think blue frame is better?

try drop shadows with
-goto display properties
-appearance
-effects
change it to clear type, or fade effect or standard
one of those should make it better...
