Re: Last one to post wins the internets
1969 Spiderman fan film. Probably the very first live action interpretation of Spidey. Probably the best thing I've ever seen ever today.

The director went on to write the best-selling novelization of The Empire Strikes Back. True story.
Don't tell me you don't fucking love that. That would be a lie.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Weird.
The Spiderman eyes are more slanty on the Japanese version of Spiderman. I say weird, I actually mean apropos, but I won't say that because I'm not a filthy racist, you nazis.
And that's as far as I'm going to get with the clip appraisal. 11 minutes, indeed. Do you think I'm made of time.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Sometimes when you're wopped, wonderful non sequiturs occur. For abso-fucking-lutely no reason at all, I just remembered about Murun Buchstansangur, which is even better than wank 60's Spider-man fan bollocks. Brain, I fucking love you.

The eyes have to be slantier on the Japanese costume. How else is he supposed to see out?

That's cray talk. We all know spider serem won't mix properly with asian blood to form a superhero.
The notion is preposterous.

He's not a real superhero, but a sub-superhero who works twice as hard and is a crafty little bastard.

You just described Batman.

Just because crafty little bastard was used.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Pretty sure Batman would pwn Nick Fury in a craftyness contest.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Foregone conclusion to the max.
Kryptonite knuckledusters wouldn't even have to come into it.

Knew it and I don't even know who Nick Fury is.
That's how confident I was.
And also, chavois, comic expert extraordinaire has just endorsed my Batman is just an asian Spiderman thread.
I feel like I've branched out today

Fucked up your commas, though, on that third sentence.

Nobody beats Batman. Not even Superman. Published fact. Batman rawks the sawks for several blawks.

It's something I'm not entirely happy with, tbh. He comes so close to being utterly destroyed a brazillion times by nondescript villains yet Superman can't beat him even once?
btw, how's this instead:
And also; chavois, comic expert extraordinaire, has just endorsed my Batman is just an asian Spiderman thread.
Much better, yes?
Lastly, I've just re-downloaded The Strokes - Is This It and it's absolutely fucking marvellous.
I'd completely forgotten about them.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
If chalice wanted to play, then I would have just used Walter Kovacs as the placeholder for scrappy little bastard.

That would have been silly. And all you'd really be doing is demonstrating that you can reference the given.

That's all I was doing the first time around anyway, so take it as an official substitution.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Watching women's tennis
It's like as if god decided to make a sport for people who don't really like sport so they won't feel left out. It's impossible not to like watching this stuff.
Laura Robson is on; she is no Sharapova and irl she would be plain - but in a tennis slip she's sexy as fuck.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Pfft.
Women's volleyball > that.
Things bouncing everywhere, and as a bonus, there's actually a bit of play, as opposed to the serve-smash-out, serve-smash-out ad infinitum of men's volleyball, which is boring as fuck.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
How to change file extensions in bulk. (For windows.) Note that this is only for when the files are already in the format you need. It doesn't convert them.
You may need to make sure you see extensions of known file types.
1: Create empty txt
2: Open it and paste this in: "ren *.x *.y" where x is what you want to change from, and y is what you want to change to.
3: Save and close it, change file extension of the txt you made to ".bat".
4: Put it in the folder where you have the files you want to change. Double click to run.
Example:
I've got a bunch of zips containing images. I want to change them to .cbz (comic book zip).
My txt/bat contains the following:
And nothing else.
Ofc, it's possible to use the same syntax for other things. * is a wildcard and represents the part of the file name that is to remain the same.
If you run into something you can't handle with that, bat files can do a lot more with loops and other trickery, but I'd just get a program for it instead. This or this, fex.

Thanks but what's a file extension?
I have a bunch of other questions like "Does it matter what species of bat?" and " If that guy from the Middle East says he is a non-English speaker then how come I understand him?" and "mbm's obviously gay so what's the deal with him marrying a woman ?" but I prefer to address those in PM so I don't look stupid.

Lord of The Rings. They are called trilogies.

That's cheating as it's really just one long movie broken into 3 parts. Also I will go to my grave saying that none of those films was really that good and the third one was certainly the weakest of the bunch.
The Bourne Ultimatum
Infernal Affairs
Toy Story 3
Lady Vengeance
Three Colours
The Dark Knight Rises

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Return of the Jedi.
Well, before I realised that George Lucas is a humongous douche and that forever tainted my subsequent viewings of every Star Wars movie, if the edits hadn't already.
