Breach of copyright is not stealing here. Stealing is a criminal offence, breach of copyright is a civil matter.
Maybe our laws are just more civilized.

If you are in London and you want to go to the cinema in Edinburgh, it will cost you £225.50.
This is only because they've put the train fares up like 9% or something.
