Rather than spout car names that mean nothing to me, maybe now would be a good time to explain why you thought I was being disingenuous when I said that clocker's car looks nice and that it looks like an XJS.

I think it's a Datsun Z.

I honestly had no idea.

So, why did you think I was rodding by saying that I knew it wasn't but it looks like an XJS and that it looks nice.

Since it does look nice and it does look like an XJS but it isn't.

It looks fuck all like a 1971 XJS, it looks like a 1979 XJS. However clocker said it was 35 years of oldness.

A really nice looking car, but not very well made.

So, in essence, given the age, it is not an XJS. It does however look like a later model.

Hope that clears matters up.
