shit, i'm pretty wasted too, btw. i drunk one and an half bottle of Famous Grouse, and i have no idea if what i'm typing makes any sense. my girlfriend just finished throw up her dinner, spiced with vodka redbull, and is now asleep. damn, 2009 started fine!

Well, this is what we can call (SHARING) its not only share files through trackers and clients. what is more worthy sharing experiences and social stuff like what mamacita is suggeting right now. (Clap em guys)

when it comes to me, i would say that torrent world made me able to find things that really changed my life. i basically use torrent for educational stuff then games and movies.
I passed the CCNA exam with 996/1000 because of the videos and docs and exams i downloaded using torrents. and that was a turning point of my life. I got promoted and signed a conntract after passing this exam.
at the very begining i wasnt carinf of rules and FAQ, i shared my accounts with people. didnt care for my ratios. and thats how i learned the hard way.

now, i have completely learned what torrent means. i have become a good sharer. and hope i can help anybody if i can.

I am not going to lie, if you can assist in re-enabling my old (shared-busted) account at bitme.org i would be thankful to you. I tried before but with no good.

Every tracker brings something different to the table, if you have TL or ScT that doesn't mean you shouldn't want/have FTN. FTN is in a completely different ballpark.

I have nothing against you nor any other FTN requester but i can only agree with what Cabalo was saying.
Unfortunately, it really seems that most of those "sincere" FTN requests/applications are only a way to try legitimating expectations.
Like you said earlier, FTN is your dream and i believe you but i'm pretty sure you don't even know why. Is it because of the community, ratioless or any other excuse ?
No of course. I simply think that after reading and hearing so many requests/posts/myths about FTN, it started to go to your head and since you're a newcomer into private torrenting (and probably inexperienced), you couldn't have resisted to the trend.

Keep in mind that a dream can't be rational nor rationnalized into some short explanations and justifications (always the same ones) like: "ftn has a amazing community", "ratioless is exactly what i need", "i don't care about level" etc...
If FTN is really your dream, ask yourself the good questions and maybe you'll understand that almost only obscure reasons incite you to wish for this tracker.

Edit: i don't blame you, i would just like you (as the other ones) to realise that you didn't state the real reasons why you want FTN cause you don't know them. Anyway, i'm sure you would make a good member... but for how long ? (dreams tend to dissipate pretty quickly).

I started using torrents three years ago. The first tracker I joined was iPlay, which I’m still a proud member of. I didn’t know much about torrents and ratio stuff and also I had horrible speeds (30KB/s upload), but by reading the forums and by keeping my PC turned on non-stop I managed to maintain my account in good condition. Afterwards, after a few months, I registered to some other Romanian trackers (czone, TvT.ro) and also discovered demonoid. By joining FST and other BT related forums I got to make some friends and to get invited to places like: SCT, Oink, , Music-Vidz, TL, Bitme. I haven’t been that active here at FST because simply I don’t have the time to post, but I do browse the forums from time to time. A year ago I got invited to FTN, which was my dream tracker at that time and it got me to realize how great it is to be a member of a tight community.
From that moment on I tried to become a member at a tracker, famous for being the best community in the torrent world, I think you know what tracker that is, but unfortunately invites are very rare there and I didn’t have the luck to join until now. I would like to join this tracker because it has very active forums, IRC and also other original features. But of course, if I get invited I will also be active by downloading and seeding.

hey murky here. yup my 5th post so not a soul here can vouch for me. i'll give it a go anyway and see what comes of it... i'd like a GFT invite.

my torrent history all started back in 2005 when i got invited to ScT. It was the first time I ever used torrents and been loving it ever since. i got myself a seed box last year. if you need to know any info, like what my username on ScT is or other trackers I'm on. I'm not a trader/seller or collector. I'm on a decent ammount of sites (by far not as much as some i imagine) but all are being used and my stats will prove that. (once again pm for any info). I know it's a long shot getting on there but if there was ever a shot, this is it. :)
