You know I really wish that they would just give me movies and stuff for free so that I could stop using the internet.
Someone talk to Bill Gates or Barack Obama and see if they can make it happen.

And miss out on the most powerful means of communication ever developed? :yikes:
I always assumed that it was language .:unsure:Besides I for one don't feel any special need to stay constantly "connected" or for that matter know what goes on on a Thursday in Timbuktu .
The internet is mostly useless or erroneous facts ,money making schemes ,pointless ways to idle away what precious little time you have on Earth and bores like myself trying to impress each other in one way or another .
Don't think my world or yours would greatly suffer without it.
Just makes things a little more "convenient " is all and historically "convenient " usually amounts in the long run to being a bad thing.
I'd miss talking to you true but only because by fact of the internet I even know of your existence. No internet .No you.(Sorry) No loss.
I'm very pragmatic.
Ofc, 99.999% of the stuff we do here is pointless. The same could be said about sports, writing, eating...
Yes, we could do more productive things with our time, but really evil people die of cancer along with the good ones. Why would I want to devote my free time to saving really horrible people? The world is better off with me right here. I'm staying.
I was under the impression that the internet was for porn.
Well, then only 5% of my online time is pointless.
Sports ideally build self-esteem and self-discipline that translates to other parts of your life.Writing is a skill and at best an art.Write well enough and I doubt that you will ever have a problem finding a job.Eating ,depends on like most things how you do it.I don't know about you but pleasure aside much like ca_aok and his porn I don't think that I could go a couplehoursweeks without it.
Anyway just me babbling as usual but I think the essential difference is that all those other things could be looked upon as life enriching while most things done on the internet are the antithesis as that blank stare and slowly widening pool of drool on your keyboard attest to.Even the convenience part like shopping or banking or booking tickets basically only serve to isolate (not "connect") us from society and what was at least once reality.
Point is,ads to the contrary, the internet and like technology enslaves us more than it frees us and we become like the Watership Down rabbits of Cowslip's Warren where we live in apparent comfort but something fundamental to our character is lost.
Anyway end babble just rather write drivel like this than ask about seedboxes or request an invite to E**** or talk how cool the new smart phone is .
Going out with a bow and arrow to hunt Woolly Mammoth now.If I have any luck I'll make a cave drawing of it for you.
Pelt them with Timbits!
Also, congrats on 5 stars MBM :o
