You see, that is one of the wonders of a discussion, you get to view a subject from different angles. I try to keep an open mind and hear what others are saying. I can not look back and once see were I said someone was wrong, I may have asked someone to show me but never said they were wrong.

Yes, where the general population hadn't had open access to handguns for over a hundred years. Yes, where there was never such a high proliferation of guns. He was talking about the UK. Surely you are not.

Btw, this whole thread has been mainly centred on agreeing that the US probably couldn't follow suit and obtain the desirable levels that the UK has reached but that some tightening up on your gun laws would be kewl.

BTW, I just wanted to point out the dare I say "uniqueness" of this topic. Usually they start out in the lounge serious, then spin to pure spam. This one seems to be the direct opposite.
