Ricky is right I prefer the K++ look rather than the 2.6 look, I dont want useless ad filled websites popping up in kaaa and I prefer the old KLE rather than the current toolbar but shifting to the 2.6 core does open up new supernode options (if there are any) and without a doubt enables usage through a SOCKS proxy, which is a must for me so I cant use a KLR build until that issue is fixed :(
I am not sure pirpu but i believe darth is working on the socks proxy issue, I maybe wrong. Because others want the socks 4 and 5 proxy to work, I would like it since it covers our tracks, As far as i know i think thier has been talk about the socks proxy as far as the beginings of K++ but no acted on it. I believe this time we will be fixing this bug issue because i can not get proxies to work either in k++ or ressurection.

i just found it
k-lite is the best! fast download.
now my dl speed is about 100 to 500 kb/sek this kicks ass.
on the old virsion of k-lite my dl speed was about 10 to 100 kb/sek and allmost never over 50 kb/sek
i got 2500/124 ADSL but still i cant belive my fast dl speed..

I just finished changeing mavol's download link on my start page from "The Kazaa Download Page" to "The Kazaa Download Place" and then i so this forum called KDP Forum and so i just had to add it too! it's in the navigation bar of the start page right beside KL BOARD.

Great to see that K-Lite is still going, but what happend to the file transfer speed up thingy. I forgot what it was called, but it would scan for more sorces every x seconds. Is it still there, just in the background?

And KMD 2.6.0 lite does not suck. Technically it works the same as ressurection. It is personal preference nothing more. Us ressurection supports don't like the new look. So we stick to the K++ look.
And we wont stop, because if the world never had people like me, darth rocko, random nut. The internet or the computer would never had existed, so if you want to bitch go ahead bt not towards us to someone that cares. If you want to help us help us but if you want to complain in that way. You don't belong here.
New version has been released. I've decided to make it like I started at 0.0.1 and called it 0.0.6. This is mainly because I don't want to hit 2.6 when people will think it's based off of Kazaa 2.6.

Just looking over this MP3Shield, is there anyway we can get it to load at the same time as when kazaa loads, this doesn't seem to much to ask for!, but would be even cooler if you could also get it to close when kazaa close. Maybe even make an option for this in kazaa "Open MP3Shield when kazaa opens" and/don't 'Close MP3Shield when kazaa closes"
as of right now i have to click on it in tools to start it up and then close it in task manager after am done with kazaa for the day.
The new 0.0.6 /249 seems to take forever to install 2-3 minutes to be exact ,any reason why this new version takes so long

It seemed fine when I installed it, but I'm guessing it's because the server is under load and it's taking a while to download the tools.

I disagree with the others. I like the name and personally think that it should not be changed. This of course my opinion. If it confuses people, then it those people who don't follow the p2p community very closely that are getting confused. Like I said this is just my opinion, so don't no one get all up set now. :)

Why does it have to connect to some web during the installation process?
I would assume thar darth makes it check for the add ons to see if they are up to date. I am not sure, but besides the kazaa lite ressurection homepage that is the only thing web based it should connect too. Darth comment if you know what hes talking about.
I think, that Darth would make smaller installer, but for people without net access is this bad...
who in the hell without net access would download anything :blink: :lol:
It downloads the tools during the setup so that people with dialup only have to download the tools they selected. This way I can add lots of tools without people complaining about size.
