The writers wanted to air a new episode weekly (like 24 does). It was the TV network that decided to include a 3 month break.

Damn! Three months are a long time to wait.. :cry:

They thinking of running lost nonstop like 24. So I would think it would start next year in Jan like 24. It's not a bad idea but I dont know. I dont want to wait that long for 24. The come back esp was awesome I am wondering if the place in Portland is really the land they are in.
