yeah Support sucks ,,
But Network is perfect , the best I've seen in last few years.
Basically I've hear that you can upgrade the server to managed and then support works fine but that is additional 10 or 15 euro per month....
Re: BT Dedicated Server/Seedbox

Re: BT Dedicated Server/Seedbox

That sound like you have bad connection with one download/upload thread...
With filezilla and some otger you can get up to 10 thread download/upload so that make to trick :)
SSH is not good, it is slow because it is secure...
Try filezilla ftp server in server and but connections max 10, then your filezilla client put also 10 for connections...
Somebody propably can explain better and with better english skills :D
Thank you very much for your recommendation! Everything works great! I installed Serv-U FTP server on my dedicated server and FTP Voyager on the client side (at home), and the speed raised to 300-500 Kb/s. When configuring Serv-U, you need to change "recieved" and "sent" buffer to higher values. Here is more info about this issue: http://www.governmentsecurity.org/fo...showtopic=3885

Be careful with Serv-U, my friend got exploited with that. He had a rootkit on his server afterwards. Remember, keep it updated :)

Re: BT Dedicated Server/Seedbox
what's the cheapest dedi that offers a windows server os?
don't need much space .. 20-30gb or bigger.
and bandwidth needs to be 500gb/mo at least.. preferably more.
