Many of you have been wondering what has happened to TorrentLeech, one of the biggest private trackers of the world. The reason for this temporary unavailability of their website is a server upgrade, according to the official IRC channel. Active users of Torrentleech could notice a little slowdown after the Dutch hosting provider Leaseweb kicked them out and the whole tracker had to find a new home - an unknown hosting in Malaysia, a much more secure offshore location.
UPDATE: I talked with one of the Torrentleech’s administrators and he confirmed it’s just a server upgrade, no legal issues or similar problems. The staff is just adding more horsepower for a comfortable usability of thousands of Torrentleech users. The site should be relaunched within few hours.
