Even if, let say Demonoid comes back... It will have to be rebuilt.
A site url is not what makes it. Time and people's upload make it grow into something great. But a returning Demonoid will take months, if not a full year, to become somewhat close to what it use to be.
Still making up my mind about Zamunda, but i must say i've found there things i was desperately looking for. Glad to be there.

Well how do you define "the best tracker"? Your preference seems to a wide content. In that sense, Zamunda is very good. However, I have other preferences aswell. Such as pre-times, speed, security, and so on. So in my opinion, "the best" is not found in one single tracker, but in a combination of different sorts of trackers. In other words, i don't think that one tracker is "the best".
