If the PMs were as reliable as BCG confirmation emails, then it may not be the user's fault at all :shifty:

I've don't think I've ever had a PM that told me to generate a keyword. Most of the messages I get were to reseed old games. I never saw that announcement either probably because I usually just skim over them.

So, I went to the irc server and went to the help channel. I was kicked as soon as I stated my case. I was willing to generate a keyword if I were to have my account re-enabled... Though my ratio isn't that impressive, it stayed at least over 1.0.

i have never once deleted any pm's from bcg since i like to keep all old pm's on sites i use and i dont have any pm's about this in my box so they may have tried to send a mass pm but it certainly didnt make it to everyone. not a big deal to me since i got it re-enabled already but im sure there are a lot of good users who just skip over announcements. hope they have a solution for this other then just saying "too bad".

I like to think that I am one of those good users being an upstanding member of several elite trackers (sct whore, ftn hero, etc). I cannot say definitively whether I did or did not get such a pm but I am sure that I certainly don't recall anything of such, I mean how hard could it have been to generate a keyword?

Anyway if I am infact at fault then I am willing to pay the penalty so I guess time to get let the chips fall where they may.

EDIT: what I find strange though is that I am disabled by all of my torrents are still seeding and I have no intention of stopping them until there are no more leechers even though I may never get the benefit of the upload credit being gained.

I'm sure there are a lot of honest, good, users who did get disabled for this. But you got nobody to blame for this but your selves. Checking the home page of whatever tracking your visiting is not hard, and it only takes up a few seconds of your time. 23k users getting disabled for this is just pathetic. Stoi gave more than enough time for every member of the site to click on one link, and generate a word.
