Makes sense, but on the other side, they opened for Christmas, meaning you may find accounts floating around. Also, the country ban didn't affect those that were already in - their accounts were flagged and are now unable to invite anyone, however.

Can you use them? A friend from a banned country gets HTTP 403 when clicking "Invite someone".
