I heard that before shutdown the SCT the staff giving the members ( who donate ) double upload credit and double invites, after that the site was down. Is it coincidence or it was by plan.

I couldn't really tell you. Some would say they knew they were going down and tried to make as much cash as possible, but I remember they gave making things even after a (real) server downtime as the reason for the double rewards.

Correct, the double upload credit and double invites initiative was implemented long before ScT died; I don't believe there's a connection between the two.

The site's owner got his account suspended. He had to be on shared hosting of some sort.
