I believe UK-T is still around and just change URL.
well, they wrote a topic on UK-T that everyone should spam in FST that UK-T is gone and miss them...(my opinion).
In this thread are many members with 1post and this are "EX" UK-T members..seems a little bit strange.
honestly I can't understand why so many people miss a tracker. they miss only the community.....
I hope I am true otherwise if UK-T is gone maybe the most traders will be normal again.
Yup...thats back when kvcd recodes were popular. Code9 was the resident kvcd group at PT...they started acting up thinking they were something more until we told em to leave. Then we started our own house kvcd team that I was on while modding.
And before all that, the PT lineage can be traced back to Digital Update (DU). ;)
I have seen few nice forum-based trackers, with rather high activity (and surprisingly no threads like 'rate that ass', only smart discussions). The one I seen (but unfortunately couldn't be a member for specific reasons) was few years old, having more than 5000 members, it's activity leaves most of community-based trackers aside. And google won't say a word on it's name :pinch:
I guess they are either hiding very good, or just not being so popular.
lets c what comes out of uk-t, as oink--> what+waffles, two great trackers.
Your site isn't online coz of these guys.

Three months ago I wouldn't have had any issues with letting you all in on the rest but I think time, bans and experience eventually changes people.
Being a newswire is good(information is power after all, aint it?) but in some circles, its highly frowned upon and I wouldn't be suprised if that's the reason why ein2005 is refusing to talk.
BT has its owners if you didn't know and I just don't want this to turn into another djgrr all over again.
Am done with enemies, friends make the world go round
I was staff on there :) my first proper torrent site I registered on back in 2003 after finding it through a site called lickmytaint. Those were the days lol
Ahhh Digital Update and Code9, it was Code9 who inspired me to take up encoding away back then and start up TUS :P who remembers the tit for tat fighting between HW,DU and PT. I got banned from PT just because I was staff on HW. Ahhhhhh the memories lol
Anymore news yet guys? Iv had to find an alterative for now where they dont have freeleech lol :-(
You sir, are a douche. You think the feeling and spirit of UKT can just be cloned to any other site? you are throughly mistaken. This site was made up of a good portion of users who never went through the "levels" and the "epenis" and the "l33tness", there were people who were only on ukt, and had been, for a good 4 years. What i dont think you understand is how many people there were IRL friends with other users. They werent just people that went into a forum and played "<insert spam topic here>" no, they actually had a forum that was filled with fun yet discussions that were actually interesting. The site had people on there so experienced and it was a joy to read their experiences and learn from them.
What really annoys me is when some closed-minded tool such as yourself who cannot see other people's points of view, assumes anything, without any foundation, evidence, or firsthand experience at all. I suggest you stop being such an incosiderate and quite frankly rude and bitchy person and let these people remember what the site was. And of course people are staying in contact with each other, and no, its not just through FSC, so, once again, that is another matter concerned where you have no idea what you are talking about.
Good Day
bang bang boom!
sorry mate, ain't nobody arguing with that...you are as right as they get...and i wasn't even a uk-t member
my condolences to all of you who lost such a unique tracker...i can already think of a few where i'd feel the same way (infact there's one which i've been a member of since 04 - it doesn't offer me the same feeling as what yall probably got at uk-t but I do get the gist of how yall are feeling atm)
good luck with getting it all back :)
Thank you NippleCake. I've been reading your posts in this thread all week, and you have been saying what I wanted (tried) to say every time.
Cheers!
life goes on...
well i rarely post in this section of fst , just come here for lulz.
feel sry for members of uk T, though i was not member there, but i can relate to what you guys are going through.
for others you can never understand what it feels to be a part of community , it is not just a tracker, it becomes your 2nd home. iam or rather was a active member of such a community plus tracker since 04 , after such long time it is just not place from where you download stuff, it is place where you have seen fellow members go through school to collage and getting married:P where there is not just x mas thread or a new years eve thread but you get text messages or even calls also from round the world;)
half the retards posting stupid things here were trying for last 2 years to get in there , but for members it is not that 'high level' thingy , they were or are just cut off from the rest off he BT world cause it is just not needed you always had your home site and some ppl just won't ever understand it.
my advice to UK T members set up private forum for members only , it is not that tough so you guys can gather at one place till things bounce back.
all the best
Regular posters and trolls here are more polite about UKt situation. Had this been other less known tracker, this thread would have been swamped with even worst posts.
x wheelmods also ,please add me as friend
uk-t is secret (personally I respect to that), so why users or maintanace at there, get in to this topic and chit chat. There must be some other forum for only uk-t members. Even If it does not exist you can build up a free one and invite who you want to there. Thats organizing. It maybe gone doesnt change the fact that this uk-t members needs proper care. All I am saying is once there was a community and maybe some of you counted that community as family. Whatever the end result is why dont you handle this topic more professionally. As a start you could have dropped a mail to all uk-t users (I mean all not some) and tell them. Do not talk about it at other forums, and never write anything elsewhere, even it gets on your nerves. Something is missing in this picture. Since most users are clueless of whats going on is showing us that they lost shepherd of their herd. The audience here is purely public. If this topic is here ofcourse all ppl will write it or voyeur it. All this is not helping to that trackers secrecy.
What wrong with exwheelies being members of FST, after all this Is a forum. Well last time I looked anyways.
I hope they stick around, It's gave FST a little something that's been missing for sometime.
It's hard to put Into words, but life
I've mentioned that mate but as said before. It's hard to communicate when we can't pm on here yet. Also, I'm sure people don't want to put their email on the forum.
I hope someone does sort a forum out for us lot, someone who know more about it.
you can also add me. I also used to be a member of wheelmods
I don't really get why members of UK-T should think of themselves as something special.
who said that we are something special?????? read the whole thread, no one with wheels said so.
we are just a small bunch of people who had a long good run together and miss the site.
have been there for many years and it was always my fav site cause it was small dynamic and friendly.
btw. add me too.:w00t:
Well there is a reason why the whole site is gone.If it was ok to congregate and chat, you would have at least had the forums and the various irc channels online for that. This is bigger than one person and I think its for the good of all that you guys focus your attention on other things other than the site. You had bad people in your midst and in all likelihood they'll just migrate with you to whatever site/forum somebody decides to start(and they may even be the ones to launch it)
I think that fsc has done a very honorable thing to take some of you in despite the risks involved and at least imo,its something that you guys should be very grateful of.
I know moving on is hard but I think accepting that what's done is done is probably one of the wisest decision anyone could make at such an instance otherwise you are bound to start making alot of silly mistakes.
P.S
You guys are awesome and I really do mean that.
Some posters here were trying to join uk-t for so long with no luck :pinch: They just go crazy after seeing so much wheelmoders in one thread on public forum. Relax
+1 for the ex-wheels here. I really liked it and been there since it started \:
also lost my lamborghini avatar |: wait no I didn't...
The samething happened when OiNK went down. A bunch of us migrated to a memorial forum to complain, reminisce, or whatever. It's the samething that the wheel members are doing. Their beloved tracker went down and they miss it. It's a little frustrating when the one tracker you invested a lot of time in, made friends at, etc, goes down.
I don't see any harm in letting them have a thread(at a filesharing forum) so they can gather with each other and post whatever they need.
The amount of jealousy in this thread is astounding. Are people really that jaded from not getting an invite to a website over the years?
I was a wheelmodder for 4-5 years(I actually can't remember. :p) Sad to see it go. I'm anxiously waiting for legit confirmed news. I didn't post much. And I lost my av! Which with a cartoon robot in BSDM getup. :p
I was also on OiNK too.
It's defo NOT about being this "something special" member crap which is thought of by some.
Mealy not having the "home" to return to,communicate like we've been able to for numerous yrs through the site in question.
Like others have quoted, when you've not had the need to visit other site's,then your vision of the "scene" is close to non existent.
Is that a bad thing?,or could you consider it being lucky enough to be involved on a site which catered for most things required?
If my sole reason for being there was using the tracker, without doubt I'd have been a member of many more various trackers rather than the one we're discussing.
Many members never used the tracker, only the forums.. This is why the sites missed so much.
What I will say, Being here is opening my eyes to the so called "scene", some of it I'm enjoying, other's not so..
Everyone has their right of thought,it's an open forum after all.
LOL at this entire thread. UK-t is not gone.
