how can i found out my ip address and the ip address of others

to find your public IP address, just go to http://www.whatismyip.com

for others....it just depends..

for your own, control panel > network connections > double click your connection type then click the 'support' tab

open dos and type ipconfig

unless you're on a LAN, your IP address listed in IP config will be the same as you would get from whatismyip.

why visit a site (which may be compromised, contain spyware, be used for commercial purpose etc) when you can get the same info (and more), without any risk?

just because it's not just now doesn't mean it can't be at a moment's notice :rolleyes:

and i dont think anyone will tell you how to get someone else's IP, that just ain't right :P
