Is The Pacific Documentary a TV Series ?

hello evry one
i want to know is Is The Pacific Documentary TV Series ? or just war Ep Series?

It's a fictional miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman the same people behind Band of Brothers which it sort of mirrors.
It centers on three principle characters Eugene Sledge , Robert Leckie and MoH winner John Basilone .All three ,as are many others portrayed in the series are/were actual people. Sledge and Leckie both wrote memoirs of their experiences and much of the plot of The Pacific is derived form these.
So although The Pacific is not a documentary much of what you see is based on fact.

Of course you could have just googled The Pacific and saved me all this trouble:blink:

Or just said it's a mini-series.

There are documentary mini-series like The Civil War.

or Baseball.

Its just a mini series, like band of brothers

But not as good....In my eyes anyways
