More Drama @ PassThePopcorn

So for those of you who haven't noticed, PTP has now split into two separate sites, passthepopcorn.org and passthepopcorn.me. Apparently what's transpired is pham went rogue, demoted the rest of the staff, and removed their access from the site. They took a backup of PTP and restarted the site at the .me domain.

What's even more fun is it turns out that pham's been stealing your donation money to pay for his personal expenditures. IRC log, the ----- bits were just useless chatter removed for clarity.

that sux big time feel sorry for the members that lost donations and the staff that try to do the right thing,only takes one bad egg to fuck it all up

Uh boy... yet another one. Can't say I'm surprised. Not anything personally directed towards PTP's (other) staff or such, but it seems like a lot of sites these days are taking the donate-and-run approach. Doesn't seem like a matter of if it will happen, only when :dabs:.

The PTP.org domain doesn't seem to work at all anymore. Taken down for good?

in my humble opinion, this is just PTP getting better... just change the domain from ptp.org to ptp.me and go grab some more popcorn!

Oh my... this site is breaking all records concerning drama, surpassing even the usual CN.

Just goes to confirm you're a god damned tool if you donate to any torrent site.
