best tracker to give your all to...?

I was wondering which tracker would you all choose if you only had one tracker to become the best user you could be on? By that I mean, reaching the highest userclass. In choosing, be sure to consider the benefits because of all the hard work spent attaining the super elite user class. (i.e. invites to whatever forum/tracker/etc.)

Personally, since I never really watch television and I very rarely watch movies, I have chosen as my goal to become eliteTM on What.cd. (I love karoake and singing!) I am well on my way there also. But it is a hell of a lot of work attaining 500 perfect FLACs. I'm positive I don't have the HDD space for it either. I'm just doubting if eliteTM on What is something that I really should be putting so much time into. :)

In this hypothetical situation, is it like we make a wish and magically attain the highest status on a particular tracker, or we have to work for it? Because in the latter case... I think I'd waste my time on something I enjoy more :ermm:

I've reached Elite on what.cd which was my end goal, and was easily accomplished in a day of uploading obscure punk albums after finally getting the data transfer requirements. I don't see an advantage in getting higher than Elite on Whatcd, unless of course you already have special access to FLAC warez that you can get torrentmaster easily enough without spending tons of money, or you are already buying your potential uploads anyways.

Is there a particular reason you want EliteTM? If you invest so much effort, money, and time into Whatcd, it will just hurt that much more if it gets taken down by a government agency (which is an eventuality)

Well, they are my dad's CDs but I have to physically travel to his house to work on uploading everyday which is a 30 minute drive one-way. I don't really have any particular reason for me wanting EliteTM status besides getting an invite to the last few foreign language trackers that I am looking for. Also, on this same train-of-thought, I was thinking that if I achieve that userclass on What, then I will be able to get invites to great sites that might pop up in the future at any random time. Kind of like establishing myself permanently as a good, reliable user in the BT community if that's possible. I was thinking like -> "What.cd is a super reputable tracker and let's say some new tracker pops up that is the best [Arabic OR Spanish/etc.] tracker and I try to acquire an invite. I'm asked why do I deserve an invite. I show them that I'm EliteTM on What and hopefully I get the invite or have a better chance of getting it." I hope that makes sense. I forgot to mention that I'm PU on What.cd so far and pretty close to being Elite.

But, if I'm wrong on any of this, please let me know. Because I really don't want to be doing all this darn work for nothing, and I do truly have better things to do with my time... I guess I can say that I'm almost at the point to where I'm complete in regard to BT. I only participate to get music from What.cd and practice my language skills with other members on the foreign language trackers I'm a part of since these bittorrenters just love to chat/troll which helps me practice my language skills a lot.

Do it if you actually enjoy the site, don't just do it for status. You'll get burnt out and it won't be worth it in the end.

Ok, I'll abandon this pursuit. I should be downloading as many songs as I like. I completely forgot about the possibility that it could one day get shut down. Thanks for the insight. Back to piano and french horn practice. :)
